More Wimbeldon

Speaking of Wimbeldon, I am so happy Juan Carlos Ferraro won his match.  He played really well.  He was confident and in control.  After watching his very flaky and inconsistent performance in the past, I am glad he seems more stable and focused now.  And Blake and Ferraro were like the friendliest opponents I have [...]

Wimbeldon is on, and I tell you, I could totally watch it the whole day.  I even watch the players I have never heard of.  I used to be a big fan of soccer, but not really now — give me tennis any day.
I’m rooting for Federer of course.  He is a dream to watch.  [...]

Some People…

One of my classmates recently IMed me on Msn Messenger.  Asked me if I had completed my assignments.  I told him I had two more left.  He said he had three because one of his assignments was rejected.  Now, that piqued my curiousity.  How can an assignment be rejected?  On what grounds?  I better find [...]

Who Is He, Really?

I re-read Chasing The Dragon by Jackie Pullinger for the fifth time recently.  I found myself questioning if I would be able to view those drug addicts and prostitutes without despising them, if I would be able to live, breathe and eat with them without looking down on them, without any sort of “I’m-better-than-you” attitude.
One [...]

Thank you for your advice.  I appreciate it.  I really do.  I know you meant well.  But I’m not how you described me.  You only knew me for 5 minutes.  And maybe, that does entitle you to form impressions of me.  But I refuse, REFUSE to see myself the way you described me.  Neither will I [...]
