Harry Potter Was…

I watched Harry Potter: The Order of the Phoenix yesterday. It was definitely not as exciting as the book, and they changed certain parts, but oh well, can’t expect the movie to be as good as the book. I loved the graphics and everything though.

Next up, I’m going to catch Transformers. Can’t stand all the raving people are doing about the show anymore! I mean I wanted to watch it at first, but sort of gave up the idea already, NOW, it feels like I’m missing out. So, yes, I will watch it.

On a random note, I have to change my habit of typing two spaces after the end of a sentence. It’s given my graphic designer some headaches. I started the double space after the end of a sentence thing because my mother told me it was the proper way to type! Hrmp. It’s not easy to change, but so far, for this post, I think I managed to stick to all single spacing.

I watched Spiderman 3, and it didn’t disappoint.  Can’t say I’ve ever been disappointed by a Spiderman movie.  But it just keeps getting better and better.  I think Spiderman 3 is my favourite of all the Spiderman movies.  Loved the action, the characters, the plot and the direction.  Of course, adding to the appeal is the minimal screen appearance of Kirsten Dunst screaming like a helpless bimbo.  Oh ya, loved the soundtrack too, probably because I’m currently in a classical and jazz mood, post-Phantom of the Opera.  I liked the classical touches very much.  Another thing I loved is the humour in the show.  It definitely kept it more entertaining.  James Franco is also absolutely drool-worthy.  I mean his face has like perfect bone structure, and his lips are like red and totally kissable.  And the eyes…  the eyes, who can forget the eyes?

Yep, so caught the movie with Melly and Meney today, and we did the usual thang, which is lunch/dinner and coffee, peppered with stoning and random chat topics.  We also talked about our favourite Economics teacher.  I tell you, that woman is a true classic.  She never fails to make us laugh.  I think we will probably remember her and her armpit wiping routine and fantastic fashion sense (i.e. the scarf) when we’re 60 and have grand kids or something.  Colourful characters like our dearest teacher were one of the reasons that made JC life so fun for us.
